| 1934 Jennings floor model Dixie Belle from OLD SOUTHPORT CLUB The Southport Club was originally opened in 1882 by Joe Hiland. Sometime around 1916 the club was sold to Charlie Kerner, who renamed it Old Southport Club. The club was located just over the line from New Orleans, on the the River road and the Mississippi River levee. The location is now occupied by a group of townhouses. This stunning floor model Dixie Belle antique slot machine is one of the original slots used at the Old Southport. It's quite rare. Only a few of these were made for the plushed casinos of the 1930's.
